Lend A Hand
We are powered by volunteers…100% and we couldn’t do it without you.
There are many areas to choose from where you can lend a hand.
We ask that you be 14 years or older and in good health.
We ask that you be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 and if you are feeling unwell you stay home.
To volunteer on the distribution floor we ask that you be able to lift 40 lb. boxes and carry grocery bags/boxes up a flight of stairs.
We have weekly pick ups of groceries and donated food items. Monthly egg pick ups and other random and seasonal food pick ups. As well sometimes clients need a hamper delivered to their door.
(You must have your own vehicle, a valid driver’s license and registration and be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.)

Help at Special Events
It takes a larger number of volunteers than usual when we prepare our Christmas Hamper project. We need many helping hands when we are receiving, sorting and storing all of the food during the Firemen’s Annual community food drive.
If you’re interested in helping in special events we keep a list of ‘on call’ people that we can bring in for these busy times.
If you’re volunteering we know you’re concerned about what happens . We strongly encourage all volunteers to be members. January 2023 memberships are due – the cost is only $5. You can pay online or give us cash when you’re onsite. Members have a vote and help determine our goals and directions for the new year.
