Make a Monetary Donation to Our Food Bank

Generosity is a big part of who this community is & we recognize the strong sense of purpose & deep commitment you show to everyone around you.

Monetary donations may be dropped off on Tuesdays at the Food Bank between 11 AM – 3 PM.

Cheques should be made payable to: Oilfields Food Bank. Mailing address is Box 1318, Diamond Valley, AB, T0L 2A0.

Tax Receipts

Please note that starting in early 2026 (for the 2025 tax year), we will be sending tax receipts by email. This will save us hundreds of dollars each year not spent on paper, envelopes, and postage. This money will be much better used to provide food to meet the ever-increasing need in our community.

Also note that when you donate through Canada Helps, your tax receipt will come from that organization, not Oilfields Food Bank.

Please be sure to give us your correct email address to ensure delivery of your tax receipt.

Food Donations

We will accept drop off food on Tuesdays from 11 am – 12 pm.

We have definitely seen an increased need & a number of first-time users. We continue to provide nutritious, ample hampers & are dedicated to making sure no one goes hungry.

Food donations can be dropped off at:

United Church in the Valley on Tuesdays between 11am – 12, 125 Royal Ave, Diamond Valley
AG Foods in Black Diamond
The Sheep River Library also has a drop off bin

Pet Food Donations

We rely entirely on donations. We do not buy pet food. It is one of the MOST REQUESTED ITEMS by folks who are struggling to feed themselves & their family. Please help if you can.
